Judge reduces child support payments for Terrell Owens
Terrell Owens will no longer be obligated to pay high amounts in child support due to a new ruling by a judge. The judge determined that Owens’s current financial situation was reason enough to alter his monthly payments.
In the past, Owens has paid as much as $20,000 a month for each child. He has four children with four separate women. Several of these women took Owens to court claiming that he was not paying the correct amount of child support. Terrell Owens used to play in the National Football League, and was able to afford these large child support payments because of his large salary.
Owens is no longer playing in the NFL, and without that contract he no longer has the amount of money he once had. His new child support payments have been reduced to an amount that is feasible to handle with his new income.
