Ruben Studdard had prenuptial agreement, loses nothing in divorce
The former American Idol winner, Ruben Studdard, did not lose anything in his divorce.
The singer filed for divorce after three years of marriage. Studdard had arranged a prenuptial agreement at the beginning of his marriage, and therefore the divorce process was an easy one. The divorce was finalized in January, and the financial details have just been released.
According to the prenuptial agreement, Studdard’s ex-wife will keep a BMW that was gifted to her during their marriage, $10,000 in a property settlement, and her wedding dress. Studdard will be able to retain all of his income, and belongings. He also outlined that he would foot the bill for his ex-wife’s attorney fees.
