Weak economy impacts child custody and divorce cases
The poor economy is putting a serious strain on divorce and child custody cases, according to a recently conducted survey. Housing debt is creating a large obstacle for divorce settlements. These housing finances have caused problems when trying to proceed with a smooth divorce.
The unemployment rate has negatively affected child custody cases. Many parents are realizing that relocation is a large possibility and reality in order to find gainful employment. This relocation not only affects them but it affects their children and changes child custody arrangements. Over half of the survey participants declared that child custody alterations were increasing due to the weak economy.
The survey gathered information on these two topics based on the last three years and the data was collected from individuals across the United States.
